Weather permitting we are putting together a grill party this coming Saturday.
What: BBQ on the Isar
When: Saturday 13th from 12:00
Where: South of the zoo on the western side of the
IsarWho: Anybody and everybody who wants to come along. Oldies, newbies and inbetweenies.
The exact location to meet and directions will be posted later in the week.
BBQ Sign-up Sheet
I will definitely be bringing one grill, so depending on the numbers we may need more.
Bring whatever you want to eat and drink yourself. If you are going to make up salads or somesuch then perhaps post here what you will bring and food can be shared. I will make up a spicy tuna/pasta salad affair.
Please sign up on the list if you are coming. We need to have an idea of numbers.

May 8 2006, 2:03 pm

Grilled Sushi... Then I guess it will no longer be Sushi then
Toronto
May 8 2006, 2:24 pm
Nein Nein, Crawlie. There is grilled sushi...anago, or unagi. Grilled eel.
I think it will be Guacamole instead of the sushi then - for elfenstar's chicken tacos sake.

why?
i meant, i would bring some tortillas and some chicken breast and only probably eat 2 so there would be some left-overs and if toronto wanted, she could make herself a taco too or anyone else for that matter. or it's like a mini-mexican theme.

Elfie, you need to spend more time in the gutter

May 8 2006, 3:22 pm
my guess would be he would have meant some sort of reference to girl on girl action and/or referring to a certain lady-part as a taco...
but he didn't mean it cause he's all growed up now.
edit: move over ER, you're taking up too much room in our gutter...

mm the kid is half irish, half german, so there's more than a fair chance that it is schooled that art.
Be careful BB, a lady-part by any other name is still a lady-part.

Don't forget to
put your name on the list if you are coming along. We need to have a rough idea of numbers to aid planning. You never know, it might be really worth your while to be registered.

When is the deadline to register?
Man, I've looked and looked for the guacamole eating list but I can't find it.
I'm almost tempted to ask Keydeck where he hid it.
Keydeck
May 8 2006, 5:04 pm
No deadlines as such. Just that it would be useful and nice to know how many are going to be around so we can organise extra grills and so forth if necessary. Makes life a lot simpler for the people organising an event. If you think you'll be coming along just pop your name onto the list. You can always remove it later if your plans change.
I'll be scouting a couple of suitable areas before Saturday and will post an exact meeting place and directions once I've done so.
Toronto, you and Elf had better be there now. I've just ordered 150kg of guacamole and a large paddling pool.

A final decision will be made on the day depending on how the weather looks. I'll post Saturday morning with a go/no go.
If you won't have access to the interwebby at the weekend then just PM me your number and I'll drop you an SMS.
There're 18 people on the
sign-up sheet so far. Don't forget to put your name down if you'd like to join us.

Just as a thought, when you do sign up, to help organising you can add if you are bringing any side dishes or beer. Its a bit of a pisser when there isnt enough beer to go round.
