Second-hand CD shops

Does anyone know if there are shops in Munich where you can buy used CDs?

Not sure about used, but you could try asking CoolerKing..

Again, not so much used, but cheap CDs can often be found from sellers at most flea-markets.

There's a shop called "M2" that sells 2nd hand CDs. They have 2 stores - one on Rosenheimer Strasse (past Rosenheimer Platz towards Orleansstrasse) and one near Elisabethplatz.

Mono near Ostbahnhof is pretty good

Try the DB "Lost property" resale shop in Frieman(Flohmarkt platz), last time I was there they had 1k's of CD's

problem is the real cd collectors get there early 6 am and pick up all the good stuff so unless you want to get up early i would'nt bother

There's a second-hand CD shop near Sendlinger Tor. Don't remember the name, but it's in the Kreuzstrasse, on the right-hand side if you're coming from Sendl. Tor (past Bodo's Backstube and just keep walking along that row). They have a large selection of 2nd-hand CD's, all kinds of music, all neatly sorted. They're open every weekday, but Wednesday is the only day when they buy used CDs, so Thursday might be the best day to go shopping there.
Disclaimer: it's a few months since I was there, so don't know if this info is still correct.

Try Mono, Elsässer Str. 19, near Ostbahnhof - my favourite and probably the best in town.

went to look for Mono it seems to be an art shop now!

I found a shop in Augsburg called X-Phon that has loads of 2nd hand vinyl & cds. Picked up loads of early 90s rave vinyls for €1 each. They could have easily sold them for €10 each.

The shop is near Jakober Tor in Augsburg & it seems that they are only open on certain days. Definitely worth a visit

There's another 2nd hand store on Barer Strasse (Schwabing), in between Elisabethplatz and Kurfürstenplatz...I live around the corner but still prefer Mono!

That would be "M2". They also have a branch on Rosenheimer Straße.

They buy stuff only on Wednesdays, 11:00 - 18:00.

Located close to Sendlinger Tor, in the centre of Munich. As well as CDs, they also have a good selection of vinyl LPs and singles, DVDs and second-hand books. They also have two shops in Nuernberg, and they move their wares around between the shops every few weeks, so there's often new stuff in.

Went there last week and was chuffed to see Mono is still open and hasn't been turned into an art shop or something. Huge selection of records, cds, dvds etc. and very well sorted. Went home with another stack of music for a very decent price.

There's another 2nd hand CD shop further east on Theresienstr. Theresienstr 52 I would guess. First shop left of the Japanese restaurant Tokami, which is at Theresienstr. 54.
