apparently you cannot call and reserve a table on friday. we've done it before but was for a random weeknight. Sorry!

Is anyone else able to get there around 6:30pm? I think i can get there then, but am not 100% (too many deadlines, too many people on vacation...the usual July/August story)

Due to a discussion James_Runner and I had at the 4th July Stammtisch it seems I'm left with the baby, i.e. organizing the next meet-up, aka Labor Day Meet-Up.

Since Labor Day in the U.S. is traditionally the end of summer as we know it I suggest leaving the Biergarten aside and being a bit more fancy. I would like to propose The Potting Shed as venue, their cocktails really are tasty, chock-full of alcohol and innovative. I'll get some information on their Happy Hour, last time it was martinis only for €5 or €6, I think but I disremembers.

Being in the heart of Schwabing this also offers us a myriad of locations for a spot of supper as well.

So make a fin de saison show at this meet-up, wear your white shoes for the last time this year, and maybe TPS will invent a red-white-and-blue cocktail for us!

This event is now looming. I was at the Potting Shed last Friday and had the absolutely awesome blow-your-mind cocktail that I can highly recommend. Check your calendar and sign up for an evening of great drinks and possibly some Italian dining next door. I can't recall the name of the place but half of the guests were speaking Italian, always a sign of authentic food.

To be fair, the website is awkward (love that word, it looks what it means) if you want to find the address and directions. The address is Occamstrasse but the entrance is in Haimhauser Strasse just off the north-east corner of the Münchener Freiheit U-Bahn stop.

Hi, all. I went home from work this afternoon not feeling well and am sorry to miss this tonight! Thanks again to sarabyrd for organizing.

I ask for your input on whether we should have the next one during, or after, the Oktoberfest.

As a visiting Yank who will be in Münich for Oktoberfest, I would vote (if I get a vote) for a stammtisch during the 'fest. I would like an opportunity to meet some American expats.

We will be there and may be in no condition to meet up after an afternoon of drinking, but if a time and place is confirmed and we pin it to our dirndles maybe someone can at least point us in the right direction!
