Muffin Man
Feb 22 2005, 4:01 pm
The muffin man is seated at the table in the laboratory of the utility muffin
Research kitchen... reaching for an oversized chrome spoon he gathers an
Intimate quantity of dried muffin remnants and brushing his scapular aside
Procceds to dump these inside of his shirt...
He turns to us and speaks:
Some people like cupcakes better. I for one care less for them!
Arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snoot of a fully charged icing
Anointment utensil he poots forths a quarter-ounce green rosette (oh ah yuk
Yuk... let’s try that again...!) he poots forth a quarter-ounce green rosette
Near the summit of a dense but radiant muffin of his own design.
Later he says:
Some people... some people like cupcakes exclusively, while myself, I say
There is naught nor ought there be nothing so exalted on the face of god’s grey
Earth as that prince of foods... the muffin!
Girl you thought he was a man
But he was a muffin

Hey, Mar 1 is good for me.

Tresznjewski's on Theresienstr (by Pinakothek Museums), Egger on Friedrichstr, Scheidegger on Bauerstr (both in Scwhabing) and Molly Malone's in
Haidhausen.

Can I be the dental floss king?
FunkySkunk
Feb 23 2005, 5:53 pm
Yeah, I like the Tresznjewski place. They have great milkshakes and burgers. How about we do it there?
Hey not to be the wet blanket but Amimelli's been organizing this show for a loooonng time. I think it'd be proper if we let her throw her last one on March 8th as I think she posted that she'll be out of town on the 1st?
Discuss amongst yourselves...

Feb 24 2005, 3:51 pm
Hi all,
Glad to hear that Muffin Man has volunteered to organize the meetings!
I'd be glad to still plan one for March 8th. I'll be in Kassel at a conference on Tuesday, March 1, so I definitely can't come. I'm going to a organic trade show in Nürnberg tomorrow, so just let me know if you guys want to meet March 1st and March 8th. In this case, I'll organize something for March 8th on Monday when I'm back before I leave again!

Feb 24 2005, 7:09 pm
A few of us are planning on doing both. I think some people just couldn't change their schedules to make it the next week (such as Muffin Man). So for the one's who were planning on the first Tuesday, we can do it on the first which would be the usual date. For the one's that are more flexible and can go on the eighth also, great! Spoke earler today with the Muffin Man (who was drinking a beer by the water in Venice

) and we are all set for 7 PM at Tresznjewski's on Theresienstr. (by Pinakothek Museums) for anyone who wants to come.

At the last meeting it was discussed and I think decided that the leadership responsibility of planning the Americans in Munich meetings will be divided up among a committee of organizers. Those who said they wanted to participate in the rotation were: FunkySkunk, davo, Cosmic Shame, Muffin Man and myself. The plan is that if anyone else wants to organize a meeting then they can just be put into the rotation for the next meeting and then the rotation will continue as before.
How does this sound to everyone? Anyone else interested in joining in the rotation? Who wants to plan the meeting for April?

Does anyone know when the next AIM meeting is scheduled for? It has been quite awhile since the last one.
In the interim there is a good band "Flatpet" playing at the
Coccodrillo Bar on Saturday, if anybody wants to meet up. The Coccodrillo-Bar is located at the
Cafe Florian, Hohenzollernstr. 11 - just off Leopoldstr. between between Giselastr. and Müncher Freiheit (U3/U6). They play mostly cover songs (Anastacia, Police, No Doubt, Skunk Anansie, Rolling Stones, Sheryl Crow, Pink, Faith Hill, Alanis Morrissette etc.) and a few of their own songs. They're pretty damn good and definitely worth checking out.
Einlass: 20:00 Uhr
Getränke sind an der Bar erhältlich und Eintritt ist frei.
Look forward to seeing some of you there.

Just a reminder that the Americans in Munich meeting is tonight at the Max Emanuel Brauerei.
To make it easier to find the group there will be "AIM" flyers in red on the end and the middle of the table.
Since the weather is good, we will try to get a spot in the beer garden in the back.

Looks like I may not make it either, atleast not early to eat. The wife is stuck at work for an undeterminable amount of time due to database problems.
DDBug, I have 4 tickets saved for you. You can get them from me almost anytime. There is a DA meeting on Monday as well.
This sounds like fun and is pretty close. I wont make dinner but might be there later in the evening. Thanks for organizing... looking forward to meeting you all.
We seem to have a few new yanks on the board, so I was wondering if anyone might want to plan another Yank meetup?
