Just for a change I was thinking that today should be….. Pledge to a pikey day

Therefore I pledge that if I meet any of those really nice caravan dwelling, tarmac laying people I shall give them a hug and offer to buy them either some shoes or pay for a measles jab for one of their 9 children.

So come on, its Friday the sun is out and the beer gardens are open so lets be nice.

So make your pledge to a Pikey here and remember Pikeys need love too.

I pledge to buy any Pikey I may run into, a new padlock for their caravan door.

And if I'm in a REALLY good mood, I will offer them my watch and wallet to save them the hassle of trying to nick them

The word is believed to be a contraction of "turnpike" - a reference to a feature of the travelling life in years gone by.

to one of my workmates mates,i pledge to buy him a beer next time i see him. two pikeys picked on the wrong bloke the day they asked him for a fight. he gave them a really good fucking kicking and got them banned from his local for trying to intimidate the locals.

oh and i forgot to say, that after they asked him for the fight and they got a good kicking all they could say was they were going to go after his wife and kids with more help from the pikey gang are with.

I'm so glad I did not watch that at work, I woulda got fired for illegal surfing. Class!

had a big convoy of pikeys on the racecourse next to my house last week. best bit was after only a few hours of being there I walked past them and noticed the large and completely empty council rubbish bin, with a massive pile of concrete and broken lino floor tiles just heaped up in the grass all around it. Its like the bit in Deliverance when John Voight loses his aim completely at the vital moment
