Where is everyone?

Since the changeover, there seem to be less posts. Is everyone boycotting the BB or what???

I know today is a holiday, so you all might be in bed still. Sadly my kids had school so I had to get up
The little buggers in our town were out last night for Hexennacht. They put soap bubbles in the fountain in town and the Fire dept are standing around scratching their heads. I hope the town goldfish aren't too bothered by a bit of fairly liquid.

I was wondering the same thing, it looks like they separated BB and TT again??? First few days TT and BB showed the same new posts, now they show separate postings. Personally I'd like to see certain portions of the boards merged. BB and TT making them both better

My login went from BB and TT to TT only I think.

TT? BB? I'm just an Englishman abroad. I was actually on BB even though my home was TT because I live down 'ere in Munich. But, because I travel about Germany on business I read BB from time to time (didn't post much).

I don't know about BB, but TT always suffered at weekends and holidays because a proportion of regular posters only have internet access in the office. On top of that, I get the impression of a 'suck-it-and-see' mentality, which will probably pass once we all get to know each other a bit better.

I'm still here TT, but just getting used to the changeover. Seems to me like there are less BB'ers around too since the change. Time will tell I suppose.

Er... let me get this straight: This is a BB Miscellaneous chat thread. As far as I understand, most TTers can't see it. I think that only TTers who had pre-registered with BB before the merge can actually read this, and possibly the whole deal works the other way round. TT was also never that active during holiday weekends in the past.

There is just so much chat generated... I don't find time to tease/wind-up/ flirt anymore

to be honest I can't be bothered to post at the moment, was fairly wound up about several of threads and comments by the end of last week, on top of which there was nobody around for the usual Friday banter so I felt even less inclined to post.

It does seem as though there are less BBers around... hopefully things might pick up in the next day or so. I think a lot are waiting for the dust to settle.

It's always quiet here at the weekend.

I am most certainly not boycotting the Britboard I have just been extremely busy at work and was not posting much before the changeover either so it is nothing to do with that.

Actually I do not see what the big deal is with the changeover problems from what I can see and I think it is a good thing.

At the end of the day we are all just on here for a natter and to get to know people so surely the merger just means more people to chat to?

I have not read all the posts about 'problems' with the merger and people being wound up as I just have not had time but at the end of the day isn't it really silly to let somebody typing away at a computer upset you?

I have had a cup of herbal tea and am now feeling better, but please dont do it again.

Now I see what happened! I couldn't get into a lot of the forums as it had me down as a TT member when I had joined BB too (in fact, I joined BB first whlie I was still living in the UK!). So now I've had to re-register under this name (old name was kazav).

Anyway - I'M BACK!

It was bloody infuriating not being able to get into all the forums and I didn't understand why until today, when I accidentally saw TT and BB beside names, that I realised what had happened with my account.

Yes I know it, although my mann is in Egypt working at the moment and i am not very happy with all the bombs, and scared to visit him.

Someone whom had just come back from Egypt told me that there is no need to worry out there, it's no worse than living in the UK. Sometimes there are headline grabbers that are intended to terrorise, but its not a war zone.

A mate of mine works out in Bagdad, so I guess his wife can appreciate how you're feeling.
