would it not be a splendid idea to post this in the following forum as well?
Events & meetupsIt seems like the ideal new forum for Frankfurt meet-ups!

Completely confuzzled now
There seem to be two meet up sections one for general and one for Frankfurt I am not really sure whether to post in both or not. Surely this is only going to lead to confusion?

Meetups, social life, sports is a BB-only forum. This can only be read by existing BB members. It is being preserved as one of the existing Britboard-only sections. Post here if you want to communicate with existing BB'ers only.
The new
Frankfurt forums are visible to all, including TT'ers. So post there if you want to broaden the number of people who might come.
I'd recommend posting to the newer Frankfurt forums. But post to both if you like.

the Britboard meet-up is a forum for all Britboarders nationally. The subforum on toytowngermany/frankfurt is a local forum for local people. So if you are planning meet-ups for Frankfurters, the Frankfurt sub-forum is probably the best forum. If you want to address both groups, post in both forums. In fact, whilst the frankfurt subforum is still in the "Aufbauphase" it is probably better to post in both.

My concern is that there are lots of people who know to look in the original section, be this the BB forum or whatever and if we start posting in another section some of the older Frankfurter's might miss the posts.
I am all for as many people viewing the posts as possible but we don't want posts to get lost as all the BBers know where to look.

tis a learning process for all.
I would suggest posting the main advert for the meet-up in the local section and post a link to it on the Britboard Meet-ups. That way people get used to the idea of looking in the local sections as well. The more things being posted and offered in the local sections the more people will use them and the more you all get out of them.

I can foresee a headache for the planners here, especially if both forums are being used to calculate numbers on rsvp basis!

Just post to the normal meetups for now then. Same as you've always done.
In fact, that's the idea for the whole of BB in general. Just carry on using it the same as previously.
Let the mod-team concern themselves with post placement and ensuring everyone gets to see what they're supposed to see.
