World day of sandwiches

Around the world between bread

Today I've been a bit under the weather and have been curing myself with comfort food in the form of sandwiches.

This morning I started with North America. It was a peanut butter and banana sandwich on a long pumkin seed roll.

This afternoon I moved over to Europe and did some British/Italian fusion. I had oven roasted chips on a cibatta with butter, pesto and balsamic vinegar.

This evening I'm thinking of making a Keema Naan, as there's a naan from Penny Markt that's really too thick to be a naan, but might work well with a filling. Any other ideas welcome.

Just felt like sharing with you all because I'm that generous kind of gal.

Hmm, maybe some Indian/Aussie fusion will be needed.

Crispy Bacon on brown bread washed down with a Guinness. If you need a hand call me.

Where I would need a hand is getting my hands on the bacon and brown bread. Eating it, I'm pretty sure I could manage that easily.
Yeti
Well just go for the Guinness then.

Oooh, tempting. Actually, I might pop down to the shops, see what they have there. The butcher in the organic shop is very nice, he might be able to slice me some.
