Touch Munich, Toytown Touch and the Bavarian International School are proud to announce the

2nd Bavarian Open Touch Rugby Tournament, 26-27th August 2006

We would like to open this tournament to as many teams and individuals as possible. The tournament is for mixed teams (men/women of any age) of maximum 14 players, though most will have about 10 (6 players per team, 3 of whom must be women, on the field at any one time)

If you don't know how touch is played (or can only visualise touch rugby as you played in school) then it is worth looking at the these websites:

Federation of International Touch

Touch Deutschland e.V.

Teams from Munich, Cologne and Berlin have already confirmed.

If you are interested in registering your team or would like to participate as an individual, please contact us on:

info@touchmuenchen.de

Touch is a fun sport open to people of all ages and both sexes, if you've not tried it, you should!

ps. Anybody interested in entering a "Britboard" team? There will most likely be at least one "Toytownmunich" team.

Just a reminder that this tournament is taking place this Saturday at the BIS.

Group games are in the morning with the semi finals and final after lunch. The final is scheduled for 16.30.

According to wetter.de the weather is now looking good (20 degs and sunny) so why not come and watch some of your favourite (unsure.gif) tters in action and get some sun and fresh air at the same time?

There might be a bbq selling some of your favourite summer snacks, and there might be beers on sale. Watch this space for confirmation.

Beer will be available on the day for a small fee.

There won't be a bbq though - the thought of an outbreak of food poisoning amongst the TT community was just too much to bear.

for those who couldnt make it. munichs own "red devils" won the competition by thrashing berlin 11-5 in the final, a great team (and not meat pie) effort and a pleasure to watch, even the weather god delivered us his best. a soon as we get some pictures we'll put them up.
