Need some help from you guys.

I'm trying to connect a GPS antenna with a Female FAKRA type C socket to a WICLIC Female socket (as on back of a Becker Naviradio). I need either a cable about 5-6m long or just a short adapter.

I've looked on Ebay and some other online shops but I don't find exactly what I want. What's confusing is that SMB and Fakra seem to be used interchangeably on some sites and not on others. They don't really look the same in the diagrams I can find. Is there a difference and can they be used together or not? Any other places where custom cables can be ordered?

Cheers.

I had some adaptors made up while ago for this, I'll see if I can find one.

Thanks. Not wanting to teach my Grandmother to suck eggs but here's a site with the FAKRA plugs and sockets. biggrin.gif On the Antenna is a female FAKRA-C.

This guy may be able to help you, can't find his web site anymore but if you drop him a line he should be able to tell you if he can make one.
He puts together all manner of GPS to palm/computer sort of cables and makes specific things on request.
