I have been asked to organise a meet-up in Hagen on Saturday 6th May. Loopy and Hellie are interested in joining us as they'd like to go to the Car Boot Sale too.
Please let me know who'll be joining us.

We'll have to see if I'm allowed to drive again by then
Loopy
Apr 15 2006, 6:30 pm
Do they not have trains in Sennelager then?
I only want a few cans as I'll be on the train myself - so you don't need to fill the boot up
Hellie

I hope you can make it Mac, that's if I can too!

hmm, although free in diary, it is the only free weekend between now and the beginning of June (silly season for me with band jobs), so "unlikely" I will be joining you
Loopy
Apr 20 2006, 2:45 pm
what a shame, you stick to playing with your horn - of course, the more important question is will Maaph-Jr be joining us?
bbulldog
Apr 20 2006, 2:46 pm
of course not, dad wont let him
Loopy
Apr 20 2006, 2:52 pm
the poor lad
Sr probably has him locked up in the broom cupboard again, only allowed out when the garage needs cleaning
maaph
Apr 20 2006, 3:41 pm
what do you mean the "more important question"?
Given up on the garage - I will let him out when he needs to dig up those tree roots and paint the fence though

I've been thinking about locations and have decided you can choose between Mongolan, Indian or Chinese.
Please tell me your preferences by Tuesday and I'll go with the majority.

Up until now the car boot sales have always been on aSunday. You may want to recheck your diaries peeps!!!
you can choose between Mongolan, Indian or Chinese.
not familiar with Mongolian cuisine (don't they eat goat?) so can't really make an informed decision without some more info... although if the Indian is good then I'd rather go there anyway, and I'm not reallly a big Chinese fan (usually end up with curry!).

The meet-up for a meal and a few drinks is on the Saturday evening, the day before the Car Boot Sale...
Mongolan is where you choose what you want and the chef cooks it for you with the sauce you want in front of your eyes, you pay one price and you can eat as much as you like and it's a good way to spend an evening...

Just been looking like mad to find where I read that the car boot sale was saturday found it... in the history of msn recent chats, it was said more than once that the cbs was saturday! Don't matter no harm done.

@Loopy, I'm sorry but I don't know anywhere that does drink as much as you like for one price... They do of course have beer there!
The food is all fresh and you choose what you like and what sauce you'd like to go on it - barbeque, spicy, sweet n sour etc etc..

I've booked the table at the Mongolian which is just down the road from us for 6.30pm, so if you'd like to be at our flat at 6.15 then you won't have to pay for parking if you park in our street!
The restaurant is in an old factory hall and has a lovely atmosphere.
bbulldog
Apr 27 2006, 8:33 am
old factory hall? is that where the disco is too?
Loopy
