Watching rugby on TV in Cologne

Anyone in the Cologne area fancying a bit of live sport on Saturday? Come on down to the Kölner Rugby Park for the Cologne Crusaders's Cup. The tournament, featuring 2 clubs from England, the home team and a local "Barbarians" team (i.e. 2nd team, guests and so on), starts at 11:00, with the final anticipated at 6:00. Food and drink are naturally available.

The club is situated at the corner of Luxemburgerstr. and Militärring, nearest tram stop Klettenberg Park.

Sounds good, Hubbi and I will try to be there.

We enjoyed watching a few games and tasting the Kölsch! Thanks for letting us know.

Glad you enjoyed it! The final was between Cologne and Finchley, final score 7-0: the Cologne captain scored the winning try with the very last action of the match.

That is a surprise. They told us they didn't want to get into the finals because they wanted more drinking time! They must have changed their tactics half way through!
