Universal Britboard meetup - 1-2.Apr.2006

Hi Everyone,

Here are the final arrangements for April 1st

We will be meeting at 17:00 at O Reilly’s by the Hauptbahnhof. For those coming by train when you come out of the main entrance of the station you can see it over the road. We have booked a private function room there and everyone has the chance to have some food and drinks. I will also be checking the list and making sure everyone signed up is there.

At 19:00 we will start making our way to the Ebbelwei Express stop. We have organised drinks to take with us on the tram and have allowed for approximately 2 beers and 1 soft drink per person. The price of these drinks is included in the 10€ for the Ebbelwoi Express payable to me on arrival at O Reilly’s. You will need to bring any other drinks yourself.

After the tram ride we will return to O Reilly’s briefly before heading off to some finer bars in Frankfurt for a few drinks

Brunch on Sunday will be at the Yours Australian Bar, Schillerpassage table is booked for 11am. They do a brunch buffet for 8,90€ and there is also some sort of kids play club.

My bloody batteries were dead so I'm relying on Neil to let me have some! A good night was had though!

Thanks everyone for coming! Shame I was not in the big party mood to start off last night. Well at least I got better as the night progressed

Everyone is saying thanks for organising but I didn't feel like I did much and could not have done it without all my little helpers!

was just going to say thanks as well, but won't bother now Shall just thank Bully, and also Neil for the super trendy badges.

Had a great night, and it was nice to put some more faces to names.

Aloha and thanks for a great meeting the location was right (ok. everyone was a little bit annoyed by the GI Joes who acted at the Karaoke) and the trip in the tram was also funny.
More big greets to all who i was speaking with. A great bunch of ppl. there, who made this night out a perfect one.

@muffin: You did maybe not very much as you think, but the essential to get this all set up to start with.
without you this wouldn´t have happened at all. The rest came with the flow anyway.

Lets put it down to team work then, but I still think you did lots for a great evening Purple muffin

Thanks for a great evening, and thanks also to all the people who organised it! It's all been said before, but it was great to put some names and faces together. I hope the brunch on Sunday morning went well as well.

I can also add my compliments to the organising folk.

It was a great evening, and it really made me happy. Far-Lands-JNR was over the moon, being allowed to drive the tram for neary 1 hour - Yes you folks in the second tram. JNR was driving the tram for half of the time.
So any spilt beer on clothes, any bruises or bone breakages are his fault !!

It was really good, shame I copuldn't have been there for brunch, but I'm sure you all had fun...

Well there aren't too many places to drink at that time in the morning! Although this time it was not filled with weirdos - except for me and yamyam - just football hooligans
But they were very nice - especially when we were talking about england winning the world cup

Yes they were in a bit of a state on Sunday morning but I was envisaging something a lot worse to be honest!

Got to agree with the rest, a great time was had by one and all.
Organised enough and then it's up to you.
I recken the reports about who was misbehaved (or not) will start to slowly seep through
soon.

Some of the names are weird but there's definitly a fine bunch of people behind them.

Before the thread gets too long wouldn't it be better to have a
picture thread so it's easier to browse through - just a thought.

I had a really good time on sat, the Ebbelwoi Express was so cool! It was good to put faces to names etc and it would be good to do it again sometime soon.. Have recovered - just slept all day yesterday
I didn't see any cameras at brunch, fortunately, but I don't think I would have noticed!
No hangover though! I will spend the rest of the day counting how much beer I drank - that will be the scary part
