America or Munich - where would u rather live?

That's not "ghetto", that's ecologically sounder. If you always get a free plastic bag, you will just throw them away. If you have to pay for them, you are far more likely to reuse them. Better for the enviroment.

Hidden charm is what I'd say about Munich. Downtown is as architecturally intruiging at first glance as other places (for obvious reasons). I was there as a tourist and wasn't all that impressed...but living there revealed layers about the place I never would have anticipated. Went far beyond the easily tagable steryotypes of stubborn bavarians chomping down luke warm sausage at 10am or the P1 types staring down at you from their Hugo Boss collars. Having lived both in the states and abroad for a total of 2.5 years...I'd pick Europe over America anytime. I'm an Ami...but love the diversity (yes, even in Munich- it's there- think cultural diversity instead vs. skin color- Toytown itself being an example), laid back lifestyle, proximity to the mountains, lakes, other cosmopolitan areas. Offers a nice array of options. Go for it! Vienna also rocks. Find yourself a chica there!

This may be a bit late but I also joined the forum recently and I am living in London currently trying to decide if I should make the big leap! My partner lives there and I really like it in Munich.. but hard t leave lovely London too...have you decided yet?
