Hi Have to get to Geneva next week cannot find any budget airlines.

Have checked previous threads...

ANY ONE HAVE AN IDEA
maaph
I assume you have tried some "reverse engineering" .. i.e. look at the Geneva airport website and see which airlines actually fly from there

http://www.gva.ch/en/default.htm

For example, Easyjet fly to Dortmund ...

[Nothing like a bit of lateral thinking

If you're travelling next week then it's really too late to get a good deal with any airline flying out of Frankfurt, budget or otherwise.

Easyjet flights from Dortmund are very cheap, but you'd have to take a 3 hour train journey north from Frankfurt, check in at least an hour before and then over an hour's flight south to Geneva.

Try taking the ICE, you can get a train from Frankfurt to Geneva in less than six hours.
Tommy
Hi Neil.

Thanks for that 6hrs on a train is outragous though expecially with changes.

Lufhtansa are 750 Euros cannot believe that there is not a better service to Geneva

You could always try flying to Zurich and jumping on a train from there. I think there may be direct trains from Zurich airport to Geneva.

I just love Geneva..It has to be my all time favourite "European" city. ( I know they arent in europe)

I flew from Munich about 3 weeks ago for only 189€

I particularly enjoy sitting down the side of the river/lake just next to "Pont du Mont Blanc".. swilling the local beer!

Really? I thought it was a bit of a dump compaired to Zurich - but the lake is nice, especially a bit further down away from Geneva.

BTW - they are in Europe, they're just not an EU member state.

What do you mean they're not in Europe? Have they moved Switzerland to another continent? What about Norway? Have they moved to?

PS Europe and the European Union are not the same thing.

See what happens when it takes you 10mins to finish writing a sarcastic comment. Someone gets in before you.
