Hubbi and I were very amused at what is on sale in Walmart at the moment.

The Union Jack flag, (didn't know Wales and Scotland and N.I. were allowed to play too) and very important:
Turkish football shirts! wacko.gif Perhaps these were ordered before they knew Turkey didn't quite manage to qualify! laugh.gif

I think the quality of the official WC merchandise is absolute rubbish. The logo is only suitable for 5 year olds, what grown man or woman wants to wear a t-shirt with smiley bubbles on it?? They are already on markdown at Real.

It's mostly overpriced garbage, but some of it is too tacky to pass up. I was in Walmart a few weeks ago and they had collapsable garden chairs with flag prints on them for all the competing nations.

That's your American side coming out laugh.gif I want to fly my very large English flag from the front of the house but my Husband thinks it may start World War 3. Our neighbours are very conservative, all the more reason to do it in my book!!!

If you do please post a photo, that would be change to the Greek and Turkish flags we see here! biggrin.gif

We're just starting to re-do the entire outside of our house. I might have to see what it costs to install a flagpole.
Loopy
I'm planning on hanging one from my balcony, the only problem is the flag for Freiburg is also St. George so I need to get one with the lions on, or England - otherwise the neighbours will just think I'm knocking off someone who works for the local tourist board rolleyes.gif

Very funny Loopy! wink.gif
