Buying electronic parts in the Hamburg area

Long shot: I'm looking for electronic parts for a Panasonic SX339 Receiver/Amp . Any ideas in the Hamburg area or online would be helpful. Two transistors need to be replaced etc. A close-up photo of the area in the amplifier can be posted. This is not a Dolby Surround amp and is a few years old.

Cheers!

Have you tried www.conrad.de ?

Transistors in amps tend to be difficult to find in such catalogues I find, unless you know a transistor that is the same but has a different number on in. (I'm sure there is an english word that fits there, but can't remember it, usually used when refering to alternative car parts)

PM or post the number on the transistors and the package type (or a photo)
HamburgChris
The transistors are almost unrecognisable. I think the previous owner was stupid enough to wire up the speakers while it was turned on and it went bang. I'll post the photo ASAP, but I think without a circuit diagramme, it might be difficult. Circuit diagrammes are available for quite high prices, but I can't see the point in giving out more money than I have to.

weird... I can't open Cute FTP to upload the photo onto my server. It's never happened before. The programme logo appears, but nothing else happens... mad.gif Photo later...

I've now updated CUTE FTP and uploaded the photo:

Still looking. Just missed another SX-339 on Ebay - was hoping to create one working unit out of two - oh well... sleep.gif

Well your driver looks well fried !

Can you read the transistor type ? One problem I see is that the resistor is so well fried that
it is impossible to read the colour code. Because it is a stereo unit the circuitry is mirrored
so you should be able to find the transistor type and the resistor value.
