Stuttgart visit by Juan Carlos of Spain

So the King of Paella is coming to Stuttgart today for a visit. Rumour has it, he is going to visit the Maybach works in Sindelfingen where he will be presented with a brand new model to cruise around Madrid in. Now seeing as I just spent €22,92 yesterday having Mercedes refill my Windscreen washer tank full of their 'approved' washer fluid as opposed to the 3,99 stuff you can buy at Real, I suppose I have just contributed at least a square centimeter towards old Juan Carlos's new vehicle. Bet he still won't wave at me as he drives past either.

That'll teach me to send the car in for a service with an almost empty Windscreen washer tank

Ever tried changing the headlamp bulb on a Smart? (no I DON'T drive one, but I've heard what a palaver it is)

Same thing on my van, you have to turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and then become a contortionist and somehow get your arm up and in there, I think I need someone like James Herriot to do it for me It took my Husband 40 minutes to do it the first time but it's much Cheaper than what Merc charge for doing it.

Hubbi always makes sure that he changes the wiper blades, fills up the water etc before he takes the car for a service, he even buys his own oil and takes that with him too. The garage gets annoyed but can't do anything about it!
