does anyone know if it is possible for children of non-military families to go to the schools here in Germany? By which I mean those schools that you get the bus reports on BFBS.

I would be interested in someone I know going to continue A level studies from next September ... but don't let him know of my cunning plan quite yet ph34r.gif

Try a pm to Sandra, she got her daughter into a military school.

You can but it is on a space available basis and you will have to pay a significant amount of Euros to do so. My kids go to the American school here in Stuttgart, (There is no British school) and it is about Euros 12,000 a year, more or less the same as the international school prices. If this 'person' is self motivated (God I hate that phrase) they can take A levels online now. You are fully supported with a tutor just an E mail away and books etc. You have to take the final exams in the UK at an accredited place but they give you a list of places to contact and make arrangements. It is much cheaper that way. I think it is about 500 quid
