Just thought I'd let you know that it seems that Graftschafter http://www.grafschafter.de/start/index.html
seem to now make a Heller Sirup and a Karamell Sirup in addition to the Zuckerrübensirup discussed as an alternative to Golden Syrup in the Bicarbonate of soda/cream of tartar previous thread.
Don't know what others think but I would have said that maybe the
Zuckerrübensirup is a bit like dark treacle?
The Heller Sirup a bit like Golden Syrup?
and the Karamell Sirup a bit like maple?
Could be wrong but just thought I'd post and let all you other foodies out there know!
