I don't know about other regions and I've surfed the net looking, but all of the Sennelager and Schloß Neuhaus GP's will be keeping their surgeries closed for the day in protest at new tarrifs being forced upon them. As I understand things, this is something that all GPs in Germany are facing and not just in this localised area of Germany. Other regions may be affected.

Hausarzt Strike Action - Wed. 18 Jan. 2006
In Hagen it's the same too and my Hautarzt is not there on Wednesday either.
Think this has being going on for over 20 years ! I've never found a doctor opened on a wednesday in germany!! It's like trying to find a beamter after 14:00 on Friday !
On Wednesday afternoons, my Doc is out on her rounds usually so its only a half day lost as such anyway.
