I keep wondering about this one. Is it like a supermarket? Free beef for a week?

They joined last month.
ApolloOr do you mean the 1,000th
validated member? There's no real way to count only those who make it through the e-mail validation process.

It says 992 Registered Members on the main forum page. I guess someone will notice.

MysteryMan, that doesn't particularly mean that there are 992 persons who signed up here. What about all the inactive names on here?

I nobbled my old name, Cromwell, to go for my proper name. So I have two, I could register a shit load more with some hotmail accounts if it meant I won a car or something.

Does EB do a clean up sometimes like erasing names who were not logged in for a certain amount of time, like let's say a year or something? I know it would be a lot of work and is probally not what the editors want... but would be interesting how many users are really
active members.

Yes DKwin, it is only ever going to be a purely abstract title. The point is, one day soon, it will say "1000 Registered Members" and "The newest member is DKLose". Alles klar?

How can he be #1000 if he joined TT already on April 14th?! I thought the 1000th member registered only a few days ago?
