Museum für Naturkunde - Berlin

My kids want to go to see the dinosaurs.
Has anyone been and what were your impressions?
Worth it or not?

It's quite old-fashioned, with no interactive stuff, but my kids (7 - 14) really liked it. There's lots of stuffed animals as well as the dinosaurs.

If you're in Berlin anyway it's definitely worth a couple of hours. I'm not sure if I'd drive far to get there, though.

we live around the corner from that museum but at the moment they are doing some work and the famous big dino has been dismantled and only his head is on display. we didn't realize that when we went in so we will have to go again when they have finished renovating. I unfortunately forgot how long it will take till they are finished but maybe they have a web site?? Otherwie it was quite good and the kids loved the zoological part with insects and animals.
