English/German Fleamarket in Weeze

Good evening everybody, haven't been here for a while :$ , so many new things to read!

I remember years and years ago I was selling stuff on a Fleamarket or "Car Boot Sale" in Weeze when they had a English/German Town Festivity. At that time we lived in "Kreis Kleve". Since a few years we live in Kreis Viersen, which is more far away from Weeze and I wonder if they still do an english/german townfest once a year... hmm.. it was good fun as far as I can remember!!

Well you just missed the British Days in Krefeld at Burg Linn...only down the road from you...British Days ThreadKrefeld Garrison also does a fair/fete too as does JHQ in Rheindahlen.
Not sure on dates though but it could be found out.

Noooooooooooo, I didn't miss British Days in Krefeld - I didn't miss a single one British Days - Event in the last few years!!! Remember, in this thread you said "hello" to me!! (I am still fairly new to this board). :$

So I think they don't have that special English/German Town Fest in Weeze anymore? Anybody from that area?

The Fest is still held every year in Weeze, they call it " International Strassenfest" and it a weekend event.

To be honest since RAF Laarbruch closed and the brits left there is no british element left, only a stand from Weezes twin town Watton. No more fish & chips

JHQ/Rheindahlen havn´t had an open day since that tragic accident with the hot air ballon a few years ago.

Huhuuu Tomcat, thanks a lot for the info!!! So it is still going on in Weeze, that's nice, but without you English people it's no fun really :$

Hahaha, it's unbelieveble, now I wrote "Tomcat" instead of "Topcat", what's wrong today... I think I better switch off my compi now...
