Winter is on the way and I was thinking of making stew, but I don`t know if you can buy suet here. Does anyone know if you can buy it, and what its called in German, can you get veggy suet too.
Any ideas

In the (mobile) english shop where I am going tonight, you can get some ... if you are in NRW, you may also be able to visit them ..

We are lazy and just buy Knödel in the little plastic bags which you heat through in warm water and then let cool for a short while. biggrin.gif

Suet is Nierentalg.

Try out the English Shop in Cologne web site www.english-shop.com - smashing shop if you can get there and even if prices are high compared to England it's a great option if you don't get back home very often.
