Rude comments and flaming

I think most people would agree that Brit Board (and its cousin Toytown) serve two purposes, one is to provide community for all us expats and secondly to be a resource for those new to Germany - which really means having the same questions posted over and over. Not a biggie, but the endless rude comments can be a really turn off after a while.

This isn't the first time this has happened. A while back Frankfurt expat had to close their message board because I few people ruined for everyone, Expatica as well has had to kick a few members off because of flaming.

Even though this is a moderated board it does create bad feelings and extra work for Editor bill and team when he has to remove and or edit posts.

So everyone lets keep it civil, and when someone makes a mistake gently remind them what's correct.

This was made after a comment i made , which after PM'ing with Ninia have got sorted and i asked for the post to be deleted.
There are worse threads here than that, see the child benefit thread!
