Edelweiss Lodge and Resort

I have an interview for a job in Garmisch at Edelweiss Lodge and Resort. It's a ski resort geared towards the American military. Just wondering if anyone can give me a little info about the town and or the Resort. Wanted to know what I might be getting myself into. Thanks...

Here's what I know. It is a newly built facility, apparently top knotch hotel and caters as you said to US military. Recently I have heard from a lot of people people who have been down there that the customer service leaves a lot to be desired and that they are hiring new people with strong skills in that area.

You have to ask yourself can you 'be nice' to lots of very demanding Americans who want the same standards of customer service they would expect in the US. As a Brit, who expects nothing in the way of service and so is happy with a little it can be difficult. Americans love it if you are a 'people person' too.

Thanks for the info. Where I'm at now demands the best in that area of their employees, and won't tolerate anything else, so if skills are lacking at Edelweiss, that should fare better for my interview. I've no guarantee of a job, and I don't know the odds I'm going against as far as open positions and potential applicants, but you gave me some hope with your insight. Thank you.
