The vacuum men arrived...

witchypoo answered a knock at the door the other day and wished she hadn't bothered. It was a vacuum cleaner salesman, who claimed he had known us for many years. It's seems he might possibly know the previous owners of our house, they moved out 5 years ago!

Anyway, he said he had some "wonder" cleaning powder and could she provide a bowl for a free sample. Off she went to the kitchen and got a small bowl. He filled it with "wonder powder" and asked if he could show her how to use it? She said "No thanks, I think I can work that out for myself...Goodbye"

Do you think he is still there, wondering what happened to his plan?!! biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif Excellent, I'll have to try and remember that if it happens to me.

The "wonder powder" is still in the bowl under the sink.

I wonder if we will ever have a use for it! wink.gif

I wonder what it does? Be careful Witchypoo doesn't use it on you!

I always pretend I can't speak any German when the door to door salespeople turn up. It was true once and has worked well ever since.

Love getting door salesman. They ring the bell at the gate and the dog (very big, very very vocal) runs out to greet them at the gate.

Never get tired of watching grown men leap out into the middle of the road, shreaking like a girly. Yet to get it timed with oncoming cars though :$
