Is there a site that lists the legal entitlements on this ? Only theoretical at the moment. My contract states as per legal requirements. Is it true that you get 60% of previous earnings for a 24 month period for unemployment ?

Not anymore, unless I've missed something somewhere, it's now down to 12 months (that's all I got, anyway) and the 60% is pretty theoretical as well as I know to my cost. For example, they hit you for "Kirchensteuer" regardless of whether or not you're a registered church member.
