Hi there,

I am looking at different ways to advertise my Business in Germany, does anyone have any suggestions of websites, ex pat magazines etc?
I don't speak German YET, but I can read it as it's similar to Dutch so navigating through sites isn't a problem.

I appreciate and ideas

Thanks

What kind of company and who are you advertising to?
Flitser
Wow, that was a quick response.

I aim to be running a series of adverts related to a working from home business opportunity, so I guess the target audience is potentially HUGE.

Thanks again

Check out the site that is in development at the moment, unfortunately the info isn't available in German as yet, but it's on its way

Not much information on the site, apart from having to request the Info Pack. Seen too many sites like this on the web.

You'll need to sit down and work out your target market first! What sort of business are you in?

I've just set up an advertising agency: www.englishtalk.net

It's been a long hard slog, the economy is talking itself into doom and gloom, but having worked out my target market, it all followed on from there.

It's Kleeneeze. Just breaking into Germany. Got news for you it's been and gone in Germany a few times in the forces area. The German community like catalogue shopping but they will want to keep hold of the catalogue and order when they feel like it.
Adi
Dusty, that was my opinion also. I really don't think the German's will buy/tolerate door-to-door salesmen. I really doubted if it would work here and I'm not surprised now you've said it's been tried and failed several times.

Although the website says it's not pyramid selling, it benefits the people at the top of a 'team' (not 'pyramid', because like the website says, it isn't pyramid selling) in a similar way. The more teams/sub-teams that sell for you, the higher your income.

anything like that will not take off in Germany. The Germans are very wary on this sort of thing.

Mind you going from the first post they are also after the ex-pats comunity... def not worth it..

a very vague approach to it all... but then if you have something to hide then dont say much

just had another look at the homepage and for someone who is saying you can earn lots of money from us, the first of the German links is to 1und1kredit.de a Kredit-hai!!

all the links go to another homepage before redirecting to nokiashop.de, be very carefull guys there is something fishy going on here...will check out the owners of the lifestyle homepage

The www.lifestyle2create.com belongs to a firm called Hilboost Limited from Maidstone.
The German Links are a redirection through www.anrdoezrs.net which is a firm in Santa Barbara USA. Not yet sure why there is a redirection but i will look into it, something just does not seem right..
