Baby groups local to Paderborn

Hi

I am English living in Paderborn, Elsen actually, with my French partner and our 7 month old son. I am trying to find English baby groups in the area as I am desperate for him to spend time with other babies. Anyone know of any ??? Please help. Plus I would love to meet other English mums. I look forward to hearing from you

Just checked where you were on the map and unfortunately you are too distant from us. Such a shame as it sounds like we have a lot in common. I have an eight month old son and a French hubbie and have also been searching for English speaking baby groups.
Good luck with finding yours, if you ever move down near the Bonn area let me know.

There is an english speaking mother and tots group in Delbrück 15:30 – 17:00, at the Deutsches Rotes Kreutz (DRK), every Wednesday. It's run by a member of this Forum (Kate) I will PM you with the fhone number.

Anyone know of anyone that attends this group that lives in or near to Paderborn?? Just trying to work out how to get there. I may be able to get a new "Irish" friend who has a 9 month old to come with me, then its problem solved. But just in case...??

Jules - Hoping to go to Delbruk on Wed

Go along the 64 towards Rheda WiedenbrÜck and take the 2nd Delbrück turn off . There is a Red Zac on the corner. Then take the next turning on the left between the Aral Tankestelle and the Auto Haus, Südstraße. Just passed the Getränkmarkt is the police/fire station. Go through the car park. The DRK is at the back of the station.

THanks for the directions but I meant if anyone could give us a lift - hahaha.. wasnt very clear though. DOH!

Thanks for Kates number. I went to the group yesterday and met your wife... She asked me how I heard of the group and I said " A guy called Dusty sent me Kates number on the Britboard.. and she replied.. " Thats my husband " LOL

Enjoyed it very much and will be a reg attender now :-)
