3rd September?
I for one will be in a pub somewhere in the Alter-Markt as on that day there is a World Cup Qualifier Wales v England. Kick-off at 16:00 CET. Struck me as being one hell of a good excuse for a get together.
:excl: Warning - I shall be in England shirt and shouting for them. However, win or lose (yeah right!) I shall not, repeat NOT be looking for any agro. :excl:
Game will be over latest just before 18:00 (though my tip is well before half time

). Any non-footy fans can join us then.
Any takers? I shall do my best to keep track, and can sort out exact details when more idea of the numbers.

good point (note to self - hide credit card).
Not sure whether Mrs maaph will be putting in an appearance. She doesn't understand football - although on second thoughts she could sit with the welsh contingent.

Being neither a football fan, nor welsh, nor english, I might very well turn up after the game. If I happen to be in the area on, or about the time in question

I would also go for Barney's instead of The Corkonian. It is my regular, after all! Unfortunately I'll either have rugby or work till 7 o'clock. Besides that, my brother and his girlfriend are visiting, so not sure if be able to make it at all. Although I have to take them to my "local" at some time...

@egg chaser, why not come along later, just for "one" beer, I'm sure that would be ok!
It seems that the date seems to be fixed. I'm looking forward to it, two BB
meet-ups within a week of each other, one in Köln and one in Krefeld a week later, regarding Krefeld, please contact me (I'll be back online after my hols on 14th August) via pm.

indeed, I thought of the "red shirt" problem as well .. my white one is a couple of years old now.
However, we should be able to tell them apart as there is that little star that indicates the number of times England has won the world cup (Germans .. back off!).
Or do the welsh shirts have a star for the number of times they have qualified for the finals?
Will post logistics details bit closer to the time.
