Stuttgart Airport

Hi
I have a friend coming to visit me in Heidelberg and she is flying into Stuttgart Airport. I don't have a car so she is catching the train.

Does anyone know anything about the trains at stuttgart?

Is the train in the airport or do you have to catch a bus or tram?

Do you know where abouts the train,bus,tram is in the airport?

Do you know how long it roughly takes?

I have had a look at the Airports webiste but its not very helpful.

I was at Stuttgart airport on Monday and Wednesday this week and I always find it a nice airport.
I havn't used the train, but I think it comes right below the airport (like Stanstead), and you just make your way up to the gates.

I'm sure someone else will be able to advise better.

She doesn't travel alot, so she is a little nervous.

I was there Wednedsay too!! Yes the Underground train is accessible from the terminal. It is well signed and goes directly to the main Bahnhof in Stuttgart. Takes about 30 minutes into town

I did thank you Bombi. Weather was in the high nineties every day great food, and best of all no kids!! Have to go to London next week and pick them up.
