@j-m yes i liked that one too, the true british weather , although that is the first time since 1998 that we have had bad weather and we go every year. We have even been in October before and had fab weather.

Yep Padstow looks exactly like that, things have not changed much.

Padstow is one of our favourites, closely following behind St. Ives and Penzance.

I was in Padstow and Polperro about 3 yrs ago for Xmas. I loved it there. So peaceful and lots of fresh air. Its bought back some happy memories Bully, thanks for that

I did see a few years ago a house on the hills at Portreath beach for sale and it was not that expensive... My parents went for it but it had already gone for something like £50.000, Was about 1999.

But I suppose at St. Ives the houses in the old village are really expensive..
