Don't worry I am terrible at baking, my husband has never seen me bake anything. Also general cooking is a problem (he tends to do most of it). Believe it or not I got an A star at school for cookery class.

Shortening is a fat that is used for baking, like lard.
Just realised those recipies on that page are for a bread maker...I have a bread baking recipe book...I will scan some and pm them to you later.

Thank you Andrea. My husband would be really impressed if he came home and there was fresh bread I made, instead of from the bakery.
I have saved the website maybe once I have learned to make basic bread I can use that website for ideas.
Thank you

I did once make this huge meal for Mark. Put way to much garlic in it. The next thing I know the people in the Apartment above me have opened all the windows in the hall way. I am just a disaster.

Your welcome...just in case it all goes wrong..go to the local bakers and pick up a ready made "homecooked" loaf as well...if yours doesn't turn out to good...10 mins before he comes home stick the bought one in the oven in a loaf tin on a low heat...and bobs ur uncle
Not that I have ever done that of course
I'll pm you the receipe for basic white bread in a mo.

Nope, but I will now. Forgot how nice pot noodles taste, yummy scrummy.
Will eat one specially on behalf of the britboard and tell you about it, if it tastes as good as the picture could save you some postage.

Cheers to you both. Looking forward to the report on Pot noodles and the recipes.
I have to leave I have a pot noodle calling my name and cleaning to do!!
