Hi everybody

Can someone please help.

I live in NRW and desperately need a family lawyer to represent me at a court hearing in Miesbach. Can anyone reccommend a good lawyer who can work quickly. I just received the letter today and the court hearing is on 25 May 2005. Being in NRW I have no idea who to contact in or around Miesbach/Munich area.

Please please please if you can reccommend anyone please write back.

With many many thanks

I don't live in NRW so can't help anyway, but you'll get much more useful replies if you specify a bit more precisely what exactly the problem is.

Don´t want to go into too much detail. Just wondered if anyone in the Münich/Miesbach area knew of a good family lawyer to deal with a child custodial issue. My lawyer here in Rees cannot travel to the hearing in Miesbach and does not know any lawyers down there so it is now up to me to find one.
I have found a list of lawyers but obviously it is always good to get a reccommendation from someone. Feel like I´m flying this one blind.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Michfra,

Try posting the question on the TT Munich board.

Hi Michfra,

I'm in NRW too so I don't know any laywers in the Miesbach area either
but I wanted to ask if you've tried Toytown Munich which is the sister english lanuage
board of this forum based in Munich ?
I guess you'll have a better chance of finding someone who and recomend a laywer
who'd be able to represent you in Miesbach.

Hope this helps

I think on this you will be flying blind anyway. It happened to us too, lawyers from one area are not always allowed in the higher courts in another area. This was only a difference from Hagen to Hamm!!

I too agree with them two above ask at Toytown, plenty of people there willing to help.

What part of NRW are you? If you dont mind answering.

Michfra,

Good luck.

You can search here for a lawyer by postcode and probably find out more than you would from the phone book.

Kleve of course i know it, near the old RAF Laarbruch camp. I used to be in Weeze often in the brit housing estate there.

Not much left of it these days Bully. Half of it has been ripped down and the rest refurbished and sold off.
Michfra
One good thing left at Laarbruch...Weeze airprot, great for that quick trip home for a bit of "normality" or... "abnormality"!!!

Thanks again folks
