I've just broken a tooth, the remains of which look as though they will need pulled out. Can anyone recommend a good (pref english speaking) dentist in Frankfurt? I'm expecting to pay cash for the treatment if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

Hi Tigger.
Sorry to hear about that, mate. The little lady told me about a good dentist she had when she was in Frankfurt -- I'll ask her tomorrow where she went, but she's very busy at the mo' so it might be a while before I get back to you on it.

Sorry Tigger, but she can't remember.
If it's any help, I can certainly recommend my old dentist in Oberursel (but obviously you'd have to get there first!):
Dr. Stefan Kraus
Zahnarzt für Oralchirurgie
Feldbergstraße 59
61440 Oberursel
Tel.: 06171-587071
I never spoke English with him but he's young-ish and most educated Germans seem to have a fairly good general level of English anyway. HTH. Get well soon, mate!

This guy was recommended to me when I had to have some treatment corrected. Comes highly recommended (from me and my friend). Trouble is I have forgotten his name (Weinriche?). Anyway, he is in Westend but I think has already moved offices to Alte Oper. Speaks fluent English as he trained in the States.

Thanks to all! fortunately a work colleague has taken pity on me having organised a appointment tomorrow and will accompany me in case there's anything that needs explaining.
