What do you do on Weekends?

What do you do on the weekends?

I think like most sane people I tend to hibernate during the winter season, but I'm getting bored of being at home.

I only mention this becuase we had friends move back to cold and snowy Winnipeg and it seems they've taken winter by the horns, why hibernate when you can be out having fun in the snow.

So I want to know what do Britboarders do on the weekend during the winter

Skiing?

Go out for a long run - well wrapped up of course

I go skiing, play rugby (when there is no snow here in Munich) and eats lots of curries to keep me warm.

Saturday
Move the toilet
Go to work. Come home
Play with my son
Cook the dinner
Watch Sponge Bob (best part of the day)
Son to bed
Watch telly
Go to bed.
Not telling

Sunday
Go swimming
Visit friends
Have fight with son cos NO Sponge Bob on Sunday
Have dinner
...

Most weekends are like that.
Winter is great

Rob,

We go Snowboarding in Austria, shopping in Stuttgart, Visit towns such as Heidelburg, Manheim, Swäbisch Hall, Rotenburg etc...etc... Or just go for a walk around our small town.

Life is too short to sit in the house!!

Keeping my eye out for a cheap pair of ski pants, thinking of getting back into it again been maybe 15 years or more since I been on the slopes. A friend has invited me so I thought try it again.


Sponge Bob Square Trousers

Every moring when the wifes' soaps are finished (gute zeiten schlecht zeiten) I switch over to Bob the Baumeister (don't tell anyone though). :$

Sundays we go swimming unless we have a reason not to (usually a snotty nose).
Sometimes I venture out to a Trödel Market - the closest thing to a Sunday shopping experience around here. For a bad weather treat we take the kids out to an indoor playground. For a good weather treat we take them for ice cream.

We visited Autostadt at Wolfsburg this weekend..well worth a visit for the ganze familie! and petrol heads! although the Lamborghini pavilion was cr*p!! We will definately go back! The golden diamante encrused Beetle(the millionth produced) was fab!!

am i allowed to answer on behalf of all the germans i know?

Go sledging down Grosse Feldberg just outside Frankfurt -superb fun!

i went skiing last saturday and go-karting on sunday. On monday my arms ached something rotten from the karting.
