Two drum'n'bass legends together in München. Certainly one not to be missed. And at a bargain price, would be min. 15 quid back in England.
Once again I'm giving plenty of notice for an excellent night. Make sure you're there!

howdy guys... freshie expat here just off the boat from boston... not usually a D&B fan but saw LTJ out in cali @ the coachella festival a few years back and love his unique take on the genre... problem is i don't know a SOUL here who's into D&B... anyone want to adopt me for the night?

I can't see that getting tickets on the door will be a problem. Never is here in Munich and people don't go out till late, so if we're there by 12, no probs I reckon!

It may be cheaper buying at the Abendkasse. It's true that VVK is 10 eur. but what they don't mention is there're extra charge for 2.20 eur. so at the end it's 12.20!

Yeah I found that when I went to get a ticket beforehand. So I didn't, coz I thought I can just as well buy on the door.
Well I just hope that there are tickets on the door. Maybe I should revise my plans about leaving to go there at midnight. Maybe leave earlier? Maybe get tickets from door at 22 Uhr and go back? Or am I being paranoid?

You're being paranoid Big C! This is Germany - getting in because it's full will NEVER be a problem in Munich, I swear - not getting let in because your T-shirt doesn't match your eye colour is, however, a distinct possibility.

Bukem is pretty well known over 'ere believe it or not!

All advanced tickets are sold out apart from the Muffathalle as far as I know.

Might possibly be problems if a big group try to get in around midnight

Muenchenticket.de still has tickets up for grabs as does Muffathalle website...having said that Presh is now talking about this as part of her leaving do, so there will need to be plenty o'tickets available, just in case. I seem to recall Big C getting in to see Tiesto (is that right mate?) late at night once upon a time - and they'll always hold tickets back to sell on the door, surely?

Those of you who actually speak the language, BigC, Tom - can you phone Muffathalle (if you havent done already) and find out what the scores on the doors actually are...

It would be shit to go all the way there and get turned away. If there is anyway we can get our tix beforehand lets do it, I dont wanna go to the club at 10! No way! There aint gonna be a soul there and its against my religion to go to a club before 12 and besides that I wanna see Presh on her last night as much as poss b4 we get oor dancin shoes on and do a runner...

They always hold back tickets for the door. I've had no problem with big name DJs before here and I've been up until 1am. I would tend to agree with Jimbo, but I don't wanna risk it.
As for phoning, they will say "yes ve hav tickets on ze door, but iv you vant to be sure, zen plez come early".

I notice Presh is thinking of coming down too. And I agree - 100 expats ain't a good thing on the door at once. But the muffathalle isn't the Funky Kitchen

OK I just spoke to the organiser of the event and he said:

"tell your friends to calm down. i expect about 1200 people but we also had like 1800 in the past so no worries about not getting a ticket..."

Basically he said that there will never be a problem getting in. Even if it's full! We might have to queue for 15 mins if we turn up after midnight, but we'll still get in.

So we can all relax!

Bloody great night last night. Excellent music. Bukem & Conrad played a 3.5hr set. Great atmosphere and crowd. Shame more people didn´t make it!

def a solid D&B night... normally a live MC drives me nuts after a while but Conrad managed to keep the energy up while not being too "aufdringlich" [sometimes a german word just fits better]

stumbled into isaak [you go by niklas normally, si?] by chance, overhearing an english convo on my search for the WC... was very nice meeting you and your friends [ran into anya the next night @ the new ultrashall] i posted some pics from the night on www.2monthsoff.com [under the section various l munich l may]... you and michael look drop dead sexy with the purses... cutting edge fashion statement esp @ a hippy D&B night... ;-)
