Der Untergang (The Downfall) - English Subtitles?

Does anyone know if Der Untergang will be released with English subtitles, or dubbed?

I just read somewhere that it was going to be released in the UK in April, if I can just get my brain to work I might be able to remember where I saw it & get more info...

Ok found it. The info is on www.toytowngermany.com it has already been released with English subtitles, well at least in Munich & will be out in DVD in March.

The film was shown at Cinema München with English subtitles. As yet there's no definite info on whether the DVD release will have english subtitles or dubbing.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I meant the DVD release. I already saw it in the cinema with english subtitles.

Well probably, but the movie premier isn't scheduled until Feb 19th (or so) in the US & I think in April in the UK, so I doubt it will be released with English subttitles before then.

I saw the film when it came out in the cinema. It's a very good film, but I wouldn't exactly file it under 'Light entertainment'

Don't expect to the subtitles to help, with the German too much. I watched 'Das Boot' with English Subtitles, and there was often a big difference between the spoken german and ther subtitles.
