Here is the update for our meet up on the 5th of Feb.

We will meet at 7pm in the Ratskeller in Hagen! It is directly in the centre of town...next to Mc Donalds! If you have any further questions please pm me!

By the way Haggis could you please contact me if you are attending the meeting for definite?

With 7pm kick off in Hagen, Northern team meet time in Hannover has been brought forward to 15.30, hope this is OK with everyone. We will still meet at Neila's office, (with some easy directions to find). This should allow enough time to travel, locate Hotel, apply make-up etc. before hitting Hagen.

Excuse me Bombi, but we've got a digi cam! But I don't like digicams because you'll delete the pics you don't like and there's no surprise anymore like you have when picking up the pics in the shop.

Just wanted to say for orientation, the Rathaus is in the centre of Hagen in the pedestrianised area. It has a tower with windows which are lit up in a wonderful blue/purple colour at night so you can't miss it. The Ratskeller entrance is at the bottom of this tower and we are in an extra room off the restaurant!

Last update, Bridget and I want to remind you about tomorrow ...

Meet up time is 7pm, Bridget and I will be in the restaurant as of 6pm so if there are any problems just ring us on our mobiles. In case there is someone who does not have our numbers please pm me, (Bridget may not go online tonight)!

The plan is to have a meal, drink and laugh (of course) and then depending on the mood of the party to move elsewhere for a drink or dance or both!

Can you suggest where its possible to park until late, close to the venue.

Mack if you come to Bully or us first, we canl drive into Hagen together
and find suitable parking.

The information wasn't for me :$ , I knew I'd have a guidance system stepping into my car this evening , I was thinking of the others who might want to aim for a certain named car park "Parkplatz am Rathaus" for example or something similier

I already saw a lovely 'stau' on the A2 direction Dortmund between Lahe and Garbsen...
We haven't even set off yet!

there is a parkhaus direktly on the ratskeller it is the volmegalerie. It is part of the new shopping centre where saturn is, so if you have any problems get directions to there. if any of you want my mobile number pm me. not sure how long the parkhause is open for but i can go with any of you and move the cars. Form the parkhaus you go out the main entrance and turn to your left and the next house is the ratskeller

Greetings to everyone that met in Hagen, thanks for a great evening!
I think it was a great success all round.

...and the winners are Bridget and Bombi, for all the arranging and checking and cross-checking and double cross-checking, without whom, none of this would have been possible

One loser is neila, my crappy camera made some lovely out of focus pictures But I will do some processing to get the best out of them, watch out soon!

Karaoke ? ...I must have missed something

Certainly was a great night ... Both petra and I enjoyed ourselves, but we had to call it a night when we did due to the drive home.

One of the most pleasant suprises of the evening was meeting Mike-a, just goes how wrong one can be about someone by judging them from their posts.

I don't know about Celle , but I think Bombi and Bridgey should come and organise the next get together in Paderborn

Right then, got everything running again, nearly -- my computer decided to shoot itself in the foot earlier on. Must have been jealous of me having such a great time without it yesterday in Hagen

So what more can one say, than a big thanks to Kirsten & Suzi for getting it all together

Unfortunately I got so engrossed in various conversations, that I didn't get round to getting the camera out at the Ratskeller, and only took a couple of pics in the cocktail bar afterwards.

The originals are a bit big to post here, so I dropped them onto a sheet in the publisher and rendered a quick collage to fit them into one post. So those who left "early" can get an idea what they missed

In my defence, can you see anyone dancing on the tables in these photos? Nope! Thanks for telling Slackmac I did!!!

It was a good evening anyway, Northerners - it's your turn now!
