German band, supported the Manics last November. Don't know much more about them - only going to the gig because they sounded OK when I heard them and I'm desperate to hear some live music...

i know what you mean spud about being desperate! no, really, for live music, that is. i come from austin, tx, the live music capital of the world, okay, not really, but close, and while at home over christmas i went to at least 5 concerts. good, some of the bands sucked, but the price was right. anyhow, the guitarist for the butthole surfers had a gig, which sucked, but still was cool to have least had the opportunity.

The last year and a half has been crap for live music in Munich. At least, for live music that I'd want to hear... I only went to one gig last year. In the previous couple of years there was one every few weeks. Hopefully it will start to pick up soon...
