Gap have sold their 10 german stores to H&M and will be closing them in August.
Might be a good opportunity to get a few bargains in the closing-down sales...

I knew that Gap in Stuttgart was closing down and yet another H&M was going to replace it, so I guessed that something was afoot...

Has anybody ever bought anything decent from H&M? I keep going to the one in the Nordwest Zentrum in Frankfurt and each time I just come out shaking my head in despair. Apparently, they do good children's clothing though.

Aww, that's not fair, I just got here and I love Gap, still there is always the online option. I agree that Hennes is utter crap unless you are a size 6 teenager. I always leave there after about 10 minutes of loud music and 30 foot lines waiting to try something on which invariably does not fit because their sizes are way off. (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!) mad.gif

I agree Nicole, the kids clothes in H&M are OK for the price but for us its crap. like you I look at the length of the wait to try on and usually go elsewhere...but where??? The NEXT catalogue usually!!
Nicole
Does Next ship to Europe Sandra? and are their sizes accurate?
sandra
No Nicole, only to BFPO addresses. sad.gif A lassie I know here has a BFPO address via her husbands' work so she orders stuff for me! their sizes are accurate usually. Boden ship stuff over though and La Redoute.
