I tend to use hotel reservation service not just for Germany but elsewhere also.

I just had a quick look and put in the date 10/07 and it came back with 122 hotels 30 of which were 60€ or less. Obviously not all these were city centre, but it is worth a look.

Hi

Looking for some advice on where to stay in Dussledorf City Centre. I have looked atthe two hotels above firstly the Radisson - (Hammer Str 25 27 Medienhafen, Düsseldorf 40219) and the other hotel we are considering is Nikko Hotel - (Immermannstr 41, Düsseldorf, 40210).

Could someone advise whether this is a good location for a weekend trip as we want to be in the city centre of Düsseldorf, near pubs, nightlife, sightseeing/tourist attractions etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kev

Düsseldorf is a small city, in either case you are 3 to 4 €uros away from whatever you want to see

Immermanstrasse goes from the train-station towards the business center, and is full of good japanese restaurants
Median-hafen is the new section, there are a bunch of nice new bars and restaurants, a multi-plex, a starbuck, etc. Like living near the mall

The Alt-stadt and the bars are around 600 meters away (in both cases), so if you can walk it is not a problem
but you might consider trying the Orangerie, which is a boutique hotel right near the river

Orangerie is great - keep their prices down during trade fairs too.
Bender's Marie have a few rooms too. They are also good.
Cheap & cheerful is El Rancho at Burgplatz.
