As I said in my previous reply about the flood control, I don't really care what goes on in Misc & Random chat as long as it stays abuse-free, and you should feel free to use Misc & Random Chat at a chat area. Indeed, the forum name does include the word "chat" for that reason.
However, I do feel that it's completely unnecessary to have a thread that goes on for nearly 70 pages. Specially when there were several posts in there that seemed only intended to keep that particular thread going. And when it was full of images that were caning the server bandwidth.
Also, please bear in mind that the forum, as a whole, is meant to be a place where people can come to find information and help about living in Germany. When we set this up it was not intended to be purely for chat.
