Going off at a slight tangent here, I was disappointed to see a report on television the other day in which a (native German) English teacher was addressing a classroom full of kids with: "My name is Helga. I am coming from Munich. Where are you coming from?" Blimey, if they're making basic errors like that in the first few lessons, it doesn't give the kids much hope for Abitur, does it?
