First time search for work in Germany

Hey everybody!
after my girlfriend of 3 years went to university and dumped me,
I met a very nice young lady from Langenhagen,Hannover.
we've met a few times and fell in Love...ahhhh...

Anyway, I've decided to give up my crappy life here in Wales and give The krauts a chance. But i must admit i'm not too sure how to go about getting a job,
I will be here for a few months anyway from july 9th.
but i'd like secure a job first.
i have been advised to just turn up and live on my caoital till i find something,
is that good advice??

any input is much appreciated!

Firstly get here, then ask your girlfriends friends if they know of anything, word and mouth gets quicker results than the unemployment office.

You are very unlikely to be offered a job on this forum, or any other of the britboards that you use, Gav just wait until you get here and then start looking
