New German Taxes

Hi, can anyone explain the new German taxation rules that were introduced recently? I know I should expect more money in my payslip last month, but how much? I also heard there will be more tax cuts next year. Is this true? Thanks.

I heard about more reductions to be brought in soon, but I don't remember the details.
