Hello to all readers of this forum.

If anyone has questions about the financial aspects of being an expatriate - pensions, medical insurance and other insurances, or general questions on welfare, social security etc., please feel free to contact me and I will endeavour to help.

The advice I offer, and give, is intended to be as comprehensive as possible, and free. No one is under any obligation to take my advice or conduct business with me.

This is the way I operate and the risk I take is putting time and effort into providing free advice to someone who subsequently either does not follow up or conducts business with another financial intemediary, based on my advice.

Other financial intermediaries may either charge a fee or adopt the 'foot in the door' attitude. I have seen very few, if any, who are prepared to take the trouble to advise on the basis that I do. My modus operandi also motivates me to remain 'on the ball' and to be sure I know, or find out, the answers to any questions. I guess it is a constant challenge and one from which I get a good deal of job satisfaction, as well as some eventual financial satisfaction - courtesy of those who subsequently decide to conduct business through me. I hope I am therefore not seen as purely mercenary from a financial point of view.
