Well this NRW section was totally empty so I thought it would be nice to add something.
From the 2nd to the 5th of June each year, there is a Music Festival/Camping extravaganza held in Moers (near Duisburg). The event started as a jazz fest but has grown to encompass what could be described as independent and world music. From what I've been told (and from the pictures I've seen) it appears to be like the Tollwood Summer Festival in Munich - only you get to camp there.

Camping in a field and listening to music
...but Tollwood is just a bunch of outrageously expensive little retailers who should be shot with some artsy shit thrown in around it for the fuck of it...no? music, tollwood? not really...yes, but...not really...
Was just trying to offer some kind of frame of reference (Outdoor festival, live music, lots of artsy fartsy types, stalls where you can buy stuff ... the first thing that jumped into my mind was Tollwood). Maybe I should have compared it to the Prien/Chiemsee Reggae fest (only without the reggae ... and less gunja)?
